Omnichannel and Customer Engagement
Dengue Academy is a comprehensive digital education platform developed for healthcare professionals (HCPs) outside of the US and UK, designed to enhance their knowledge and expertise in dengue management. This digital initiative, spearheaded by Vaccine Medical Affairs team, addresses a critical need for accessible, high-quality disease awareness resources and medical education in a dynamic and evolving healthcare landscape. The platform delivers a rich array of educational resources, including CME events, masterclasses, articles, videos, courses, documents, podcasts, and data visualizations to actively engage with HCPs in addition to omnichannel approach .
In my role, I was responsible for the strategy development, from initial concept to final execution. This involved close collaboration with the Medical Affairs leadership team to identify key objectives and needs, define content strategy, and oversee the development and production of all platform materials. I also worked in conjunction with the Data, Digital, and Technology (DD&T) team, as well as an external vendor, to manage the technical execution of the project.
High-level execution and approach:
Needs Assessment and Strategy Development
I've collaborated with Medical Affairs leadership team to conduct thorough needs assessments, identifying knowledge gaps and educational priorities related to dengue prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Developed the overarching platform strategy, including content pillars, learning objectives, and engagement strategies.
Content Planning & Development
Worked with Medical Affairs to define the content roadmap, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and target audience needs. Oversaw the creation of diverse content formats, including:
— CME events and masterclasses
— Evidence-based articles and publications
— Engaging video lectures and demonstrations
— Structured online courses and learning modules
— Comprehensive documents and reference materials
Platform Development & Execution
I've partnered with the DD&T team and an external vendor to manage the design, technical development, and implementation of the platform. This included:
— Defining technical specifications and user experience (UX) requirements.
— Overseeing platform design, development, and testing.
— Ensuring seamless integration of content and functionalities.
— Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Throughout the project, I worked closely with teams across medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and DD&T (Digital, Data & Technology) teams to ensure alignment on goals and legal requirements of the platform. Regular feedback sessions and iterative development cycles (product roadmap) were key to addressing challenges and refining Dengue Academy as an external HCP platform.
Launch & Ongoing Management
Supported the launch of the Dengue Academy platform, including communication and marketing strategies. Collaborated with the team for ongoing content updates, platform enhancements, and performance monitoring to ensure the platform remains a valuable and relevant resource for HCPs.
