Digital Solutions & Platform Development
The Vaccine Science Hub (vaccinesciencehub.com/science-hub) is a digital platform developed for the Vaccine Business Unit at Takeda, with a specific focus on supporting endorsed congresses. It serves as a central platform for the dissemination of approved posters and presentation materials related to dengue. This platform aims to enhance the reach and impact of scientific findings presented at these congresses, making valuable information more accessible to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
The platform was created with the following key objectives:
The platform addresses the need for:
High-level execution and approach:
Congress Collaboration and Content Management
I worked with the medical communications and publication team leads to identify key endorsed congresses and establish processes for collecting approved materials. For the content acquisition and management, we developed workflows for receiving, reviewing, and publishing of the approved posters, abstracts, and oral presentations during congress. The platform maintains the approved materials 6 months post congress.
Platform Development and User-Centered Design
Leveraging my expertise in user experience (UX) design, I ensured the platform was intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing. We also partnered with a technology vendor to develop the platform including workflows and processes for the publishing of congress materials.
Quality Asurance and Compliance
We implemented rigorous quality control processes to ensure compliance of all published congress materials to the platform.
Ongoing Content Updates
We established processes for the timely upload and retiring of congress materials in the platform according to legal and compliance.
Results and impact:
The Congress Science Hub platform has helped us achieve the dissemination of dengue-related materials presented at endorsed congresses by streamlining the process of sharing approved scientific materials, ensuring timely and efficient communication of key findings during congress.
